Welcome to the Colt 45 band site. I will try and keep this updated so everyone will know where and when we will be playing. The original Colt 45 was formed in Yokosuka, Japan in 1983. The band consisted of Gary Beatty, Larry Bachman, Bob Whittiker, Rick Shurl and Gene Monroe. When Gary left Japan in '86 the band was no more. In 1989 the name was used again in Indiana and had Gary, Brad Hignite, Mike Beatty, Houston Spence and Art Edington and continued for 5 years. The band then changed names and personel until now. The NEW and IMPROVED Colt 45 Band will be bigger and better than ever. Gary Beatty, John Young, Mike Beatty and Jay England. As soon as the band starts playing this site will be updated and will include the dates and times so stay tuned.
